How to connect
Any copy of Minecraft: Java Edition will do. There’s no modpack or launcher to set up.

Start Minecraft: Java Edition. The latest version is best, though older ones connect fine.

Under Multiplayer, click Add Server.

Paste this address in and join.

You’ll land in the spawn town, where nobody can hurt you. When you’re ready, take the portal or type
/rtp.
If it doesn’t work
- You’re on Bedrock, a phone or a console
- Survival only takes Java Edition, so those can’t connect.
- You’re on an older version
- That works. Anything added after your version shows up as the nearest block your game knows.
